Hello!

First of all, I'd like to introduce myself.  I am Alicia, and a nursing student who currently resides in the lovely Portland, Oregon.  Yup.  That would be me to the right.. I've got chubby cheeks as well, Kayla... haha, perhaps a PacNor thing?

Anyway, after I saw your postsecret, I just had this overwhelming urge to write, write, write!  I have friends who have been, or currently are, in boot camp, and I know how important letters are to them.  Sometimes they would give me names of their friends and I would write to them as well.

How are things thus far?  Is it what you expected?  Were you scared going into it?  I would have been.  I honestly, completely admire people like you.  No way would I have the courage to do what you are doing.  I couldn't even imagine.

I hope everything is well.  I hope you know we are thinking of you.  Stay encouraged, you are doing wonderfully.  Enjoy it.
