My name is Rachel. I'm in Texas right now. I know what its like to be away from everything you know and love...I know what its like to walk into something completely unlike what you expected. Its hard to transition into another stage of life. But, I wanted to send you a little encouragement. I want you to know that I am so proud of you. Whatever your reason for going into the Navy...know that you are respected. Know that people think about you everyday. You aren't alone. It may seem like it...but you aren't. I am so grateful for your decision to defend and protect the rest of us.
