Hi. My name is Shannon. I live in NY, and I'm in junior high still. My feet are too big, and I love music, and acting, and irish step dancing.

I think you're incredibly brave. My mom has expressly forbidden me from joining the army. "Let someone else do it." She says. Well, I think she's an idiot.

I really love to read. I used to read a lot of historical fiction, and some of it was about Vets coming home, and no one coming to visit them, because people didn't support the Vietnam war. That's so stupid. Just because you don't support the war doesn't mean you shouldn't support the troops. Let's see some of the people who bash the war go out on the front.

I hope that whoever you had in mind writes to you. Know that you have inspired people to contribute, and generated many discussions between my friends and I, as well as many others, I'm sure.

So, everyone else has talked about themselves. I'm 15, and I'm incredibly neurotic, which I definitely inherited from my mom. My little brother is 13, he's autistic, but is only a grade behind, and is going to regular school next year, without an aid. Which makes me nervous. But I think he'll make it =] I've been Irish step dancing for about 5 years, and I'm at the championship level. I'm in all honors, and my parents get angry when I get anything below a 95. I'm a bit anti-social. I'm a theatre geek =D I was an assistant director and a lead in my school show.

I have a million other things to say. But I think I'm just going to stop there.
